Tuol Sleng (S-21) Genocide Museum
Learn about the darkest chapter of Cambodia's history under the Khmer Rouge regime (April 17, 1975 – January 7, 1979), a period when more than 2 million people tragically lost their lives. The museum was once a high school, later converted into the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21).
The Killing Fields (Choeung Ek Genocidal Center)
Located approximately 17 km from Phnom Penh, this memorial site commemorates the over 20,000 people who were executed here. The Buddhist stupa, filled with the skulls of victims, stands as a chilling reminder of Cambodia's painful past.
